THE WHISPER THAT NEVER FADES

 

she hears it...that whisper in the tranquil..

It is not a voice, not in the way we recognize or hear sounds. It's a presence, a feeling that scratches her mind when she's alone with her thoughts. It will emerge slowly and cautiously yet loud and thunderous, disrupting her subdued atmosphere, choking her with questions, words, and thoughts she didn't have answers to.

why are you this way?

why can't you let me out?

Do you know who you are?

why don't you embrace me?

For years, she has ignored its existence, going about her life drowning herself with activities or distractions that utterly kept her mind busy and occupied. But the whisper never left. It lingered, biding time until the right opportunity arose.

Over time, the weight of pretending became too much to bear; she took a pause, took a deep breath, and allowed the silence to overwhelm her, and for the first time ever…she listened!

The whisper became an echo, soft and soothing, sometimes mysterious and haunting, another time ethereal and longing. Like an unforgettable melody, it reverberated through her every soul, drifting in echoes only she could hear. It bore hidden truths she had long buried, dreams she had once dragged her feet about, emotions she had been too afraid to feel, and profound insights she had once dismissed. It was blunt and raw, piercing and uncomfortable; it was REAL." And in that moment, she understood...it was her" This echo wasn't just something implanted in her; it didn't just come out of the blue…it was her.

It was a voice… her voice before the world told her to be quiet, her emotions before she chose which one was acceptable, her questions before she knew or feared the answers. 

And so she wrote, not to silence the echo but to give it a home.

The world is indeed chaotic… often filled with crazy and loud expectations, distractions, and words telling us what to do, how to act, and how to feel… But here, within these words, you'd find a quiet place, a place where emotions breathe, thoughts stir, reflections take shape, and reasoning comes alive.
